You automatically become a member of the Martock Ski Race Club (MSRC) when you register your child and pay the registration fee. If you are in the Masters category, you become a member when you register yourself. There are three steps to registration:
(i) choose the program that corresponds with the participant’s age – Nancy Greene for six to ten year olds, K1 for 11 to 12 year olds, K2 for 13 to 14, J1/J2 for 15 to 19 years of age and Masters for adult skiers. A five year old may be accepted to Nancy Greene after assessment by the head coach. MSRC also has a Freestyle program for those interested in competitive pipe and park, but it is not for beginners.
If your nine to ten year old child has mastered Nancy Greene and is itching to try competitive skiing, they may be permitted to participate in certain K1 activities and indeed this is encouraged by MSRC.
If your child is K1 age but did not complete all the Nancy Greene levels, or is completely new to the program, MSRC offers a transitional program called K1 Part Time. Regardless of which program you choose, they are all coached by nationally certified instructors;
(ii) download and complete the required registration forms. There are three – the registration form itself, a waiver and an Alpine Canada form for insurance purposes. Here they are:

(iii) mail the completed forms and registration fee or bring them to the MSRC clubhouse at Martock. Click “Contact Us” on the navigation bar to obtain contact and cheque payable information, as well as directions to Martock. The clubhouse is located in the lower right hand corner of the hill (opposite corner to the chair lift). If you have any questions just telephone or email MSRC (see Contact Us).
