Crabbe Speed Camp & Race

February 6, 2012 | Comments Off | NEWS

K2 and J’s had a beautiful week at Crabbe Mountain. Wednesday’s snow storm gave us an opportunity to ski powder….and ski  the trees something we don’t get to do very often! The speed camp only saw one of our athletes end up in the trees after a rough landing off the jump, she came out with only a few bruises and successfully landed her next attempt!  We also brought home some hardware: Thomas a silver and bronze in SG, Anna two bronze in SG, Nick a bronze in SG and Kate a silver in SG.   A great job by all of our athletes, with very close times in many races.  Award photos are posted on the flicker site with more to follow.

Le Massif Dec. 2011

December 24, 2011 | Comments Off | NEWS

The early season training camp at Le Massif, Quebec was a great time.  Given the lack of snow everywhere we made out pretty well, with very little traffic on the mountain.  Coaches spent  a lot of time team building when athletes were off the hill which gave our younger athletes a chance to get to know the older athletes.  We had a super group of chaperons that attended the camp which helped to make everything run smoothly.  Check out the flicker site for photos of the trip.
